The Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program

Now Accepting Applications for 2016!

The Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program was established by the Foundation of ACHE's Fund for Innovation in Healthcare Leadership to honor Thomas C. Dolan, PhD, FACHE, FASAE, president and CEO of ACHE from 1991–2013, and his long-standing service to the profession of healthcare leadership and to further his strong commitment to achieving greater diversity among senior healthcare leaders. Please see ACHE's Statement on Diversity for more information about our commitment to diversity.

In healthcare organizations today there is a well-documented gap between the diversity of the C-suite and the diversity of the communities being served. This program aspires to address this gap by preparing diverse mid- and senior-level careerists to ascend to the C-suite of hospitals, health systems and other healthcare organizations.

During this year-long program scholars will benefit from specialized curriculum opportunities addressing barriers in career attainment and developing executive presence, one-on-one interaction with a specially selected mentor and participation in formal leadership education and career assessments. Enhanced self-awareness, critical leadership skills and an expanded network of leaders will prepare scholars for their future roles.

If you have questions about the program, please contact Terra L. Levin, FACHE, CAE, regional director, Division of Regional Services, at (312) 424-9329 or
