ACHE’s Self-Study Courses—now in a digital format—allow you to set your own pace while developing the leadership and management skills needed to advance your career.
How Do Digital Self-Study Courses Work?
Digital self-study courses offer professional advancement in an independent study format, savings in time and expenses associated with out-of-town programs, and six ACHE Qualifying Education credits that can be applied toward ACHE advancement or recertification. Courses explore timely topics and healthcare management fundamentals.
Each course corresponds to a book published by Health Administration Press. You do not need to complete all the courses in a particular subject area.
Each course includes the following:
- Instructions on how to complete the course and earn credits
- Course material, including required readings from the corresponding book and any additional reading
- Assessment
- Course evaluation form
You have 180 days from date of purchase to complete all course requirements. Upon purchase, you will see the course in the “My Online Learning” section of your My ACHE account. From there, you will be directed to ACHE’s learning management system to complete the course.
Upon completion of the course, you will earn six ACHE Qualifying Education credits toward your advancement in ACHE. Course credit will be applied automatically after all course requirements are completed.
