However, networking ought to be recognized as having at least as much a strategic (that means long-term in this case) aspect as a tactical (that means immediate in this case) aspect. Also, now is the time to join the ACHE LinkedIn group online and use that social networking tool to help you advance your career. Your profile (not simply a resume) will become a mechanism for promoting your personal brand. And, having a target job, target locations and target organizations also will be necessary. This may seem like lots of work in addition to having your job, but it is true that finding a job is a job in and of itself.
