I will be graduating with a BS in Healthcare Management in May. I know that in order to be taken seriously in Healthcare Administration one must obtain their graduate degree. However, in my current affairs I have put myself through college and cannot afford to bridge straight into a graduate program from my undergrad studies. I also believe it will be beneficial for me to gain real working experience prior to furthering my education. What I am having trouble with is; I am searching for ideal positions that will bolster my future career in administration, but I do not possess the experience and education that many organizations desire. I have worked my entire life, and am currently working in a sales call center for a health insurance company. I have had mediocre offers to stay within the sales department, but I am timid in accepting these positions because it distances me from my ultimate goal of operating a long term care center. If anyone has any advice or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You for your consideration.
