Relocating and Finding a job in a different state

Good Morning My name is Monique Tolliver and I am a student member of ACHE. I will be  completing my Bachelor's degree in Health Administration in December . I am relocating  to Texas and wanted to know what to do to ensure that I am employed when I move there. I also wanted to know some more tips for networking. If anyone can offer help or someone's contact information for networking purposes it would be greatly appreciated.

    Monique:

Begin with checking on ACHE resources in the area including the local ACHE Chapter. Check with the Regent or Regents in Texas for networking as well.

Utilize the ACHE Career Management Network (on ache.org - Career Resources tab) where you input criteria to connect with ACHE members who volunteered to network.  Also make use of the Member Directory to identify decision makers in your locale.

Also, check out www.job-hunt.org where you can identify resources by state.
