Responsibilities
Marketing/operations/representatives:
These individuals conduct health industry research, tabulate
data using database programs, support sales staff, and write
and compose documents related to healthcare marketing and
sales. In addition, they focus on short-term assignments,
human resources or organizational development projects, and
development of customer service mechanisms. Some may work
on process improvement efforts and senior management initiatives.
Accountants:
These individuals perform corporate accounting duties, develop
budgets, support development teams, and develop and maintain
financial reports.
Qualifications
Marketing/operations/representatives:
Typically
an undergraduate degree in marketing—as well
as relevant work experience—or a graduate degree in marketing
or health services management is required.
Accountants:
The
Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credential is a requisite.
